About Us

Welcome to Minden Place my name is Carrie.  My Mother and I run the store and look forward to seeing you.  While visiting our shop we hope you will find treasures that cherish the past and embrace the present.

We want to help you make your home a place that is a warm and comfortable place to live. We are located in downtown Republic Missouri. The shop is in the historic Bank of Republic building built around the turn of the century. The nostalgia will charm you with the original pressed tin ceiling and 2 original vaults that represent the history of the building.

We offer antique furniture, small antique treasures, new items and wonderful pieces made new from old houses and barns being torn down. We carry Scents for a Cure candles and our very own line of Minden Place Country Candles.  We also have a unique line of greeting cards.

To top off the nostalgia we have an old fashion candy counter. We offer 20 different types of sweets with 4 of them being sugar free. We look forward to you stopping in soon.
